Extra curricular activities
We offer a great number of extra - curricular activities for all of the children at Raddlebarn. We have a particularly broad range of musical and sporting activities to enhance and enrich the curriculum ~ details of these are shown at the bottom of this page. In addition we have clubs which include opportunities as varied as: Board Games, Cookery, Chill Out Clubs where a range of art and craft activities are available, Relaxation Techniques and Dance.
Children get the opportunity, in Year 5 and 6, to go on a Residential Outward Bound activity weekend in Shropshire where they enjoy activities such as climbing, abseiling, canoeing, raft building and many more interesting activities that they wouldn’t ordinarily get the chance to do.
Every year group is involved in producing a performance of some kind, be it a Christmas Nativity, celebration of another religious festival or Maypole Dance. This encourages the children to become used to larger social situations and is, at the same time, an awful lot of fun!
All of this ensures that by the time the children leave Raddlebarn they have had a full and varied learning experience, encompassing as many different sports, activities and events as possible.
