If the number of children applying for admission exceeds the number of places available, places will be allocated on the following order of priority:

  1. Looked after or previously looked after children.
  2. Children who will have a brother or sister in attendance at the school at the time of admission.
  3. Children who live nearest the school.

Within each of these categories, priority is given to those who live nearest to the school.

[Please note: Any child with a statement of special educational needs is required to be admitted to the school that is named in the statement. This gives such children overall priority for admission to the named school. This is not an oversubscription criterion.]

Following the offer of places, a waiting list will be kept in strict oversubscription order until at least the end of the first academic term. Each added child will require the list to be ranked again in line with the oversubscription criteria.

Places are offered for Reception by the Local Authority ~ please contact Admissions and Appeals on 0121-303-1888 (Option 4).

If you are interested in applying for a place for your child, please contact the school office on 0121-472-0062 or call into school to book an appointment to come and look around .
