Children’s Safeguarding Board

In October 2018, Raddlebarn set up their own Children’s safeguarding board. This was open to children in Key Stage 2. They would listen to the other children in school and together come up with ideas for how to make our school safer before planning how they would do this.
Any child who was interested had to fill in an application form detailing why they may be the best person for the job! The children took this very seriously and the Inclusion Leader received over 100 applications!
Following a discussion with the Inclusion team, 8 children were chosen. Their first job was to deliver an assembly informing the other children in the school of their role within the team. They were fantastic!
Look out for more information and what they have been up to in 2019!
