Our Raddlebarn Eco School team improves our school environment. The Eco-Schools programme is an ideal way for schools to embark on a meaningful path towards improving the environmental footprint of a school, a change which inevitably leads to a more sustainable, less costly and more responsible school environment.
Having an ‘Eco Council’ empowers students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents, classes and neighbourhood communities to promote sound environmental behaviour.

Eco Schools Silver Award
The Eco Council have achieved the Eco Schools Silver award for Raddlebarn School. The whole school worked so hard to achieve this award. Well done we are very proud of you.
Eco Council collected pine cones and made some bird feeders. This was a very messy job! We hung the bird feeders in our new eco space and the infant playground. Attracting wildlife to the eco space proved to be very popular!
The Eco Council have explored the new plot of land they are going to transform into an eco-space! The Eco Council are buzzing with excitement and keen to discuss ideas they have to transform the area. Watch this space….
