We have a new and improved school entrance! We have had great feedback from children, parents, staff and governors 😊
We had a great day learning all about how the Victorians lived. A highlight was going into the mine and we all found the Victorian style teacher very scary!
Jimmy from Turves Green School, who works with Steps2Sport, did an assembly with the children last week and talked about health, how to have a balanced diet and how keeping active helps with school work.
Year 4 children delivered a fantastic assembly all about Africa. It included drumming, drama, a traditional tale, lots of information about Africa and some great singing. Well done, everyone!
We had a lovely spring walk. We talked about changes that have occurred since the autumn and winter. We found a few different types of flowers, stood under blossom ‘confetti’, tried to identify types of trees and looked at new buds growing. It was a beautiful walk!
1W are really enjoying learning about plants in Science. So far we have planted broad beans, sweet peas, sugar snap peas, potatoes and strawberries. We can’t wait to see how they grow!
